Bengaluru’s teenage tennis sensation Srishti Kiran has etched her name in the annals of Indian junior tennis by clinching the girls’ singles title at the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J30 tournament. The 13-year-old prodigy sealed a hard-fought victory in the final against Mexico’s Herman, triumphing 6-4, 6-4 to complete a remarkable hat-trick of ITF titles.

The tournament, held in Huamantla, Mexico, showcased Srishti’s resilience and skill against top international competition. In the semi-finals, she staged a stunning comeback, trailing 2-4 before reeling off 10 consecutive games to demolish 16-year-old Miranda Sofia Escamilla Morales of Mexico 6-4, 6-0. This display of mental fortitude and technical prowess propelled her into the final with momentum.

Srishti’s journey began under the guidance of the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) in Bengaluru. Her breakthrough came in 2025 when she captured her first international junior title at the ITF J30 in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, followed by a doubles crown partnering Bahamas’ Brayna Howellgrave, defeating the British pair Jessica Morrison and Eva Moss.

Earlier accolades include an unbeaten run in the ATF Under-12 Girls Team Championship final in August 2023, helping India secure its first title. Her orange ball performances caught the eye of the Asian Tennis Federation, leading to training at the prestigious RPS Academy in Florida under world-renowned coach Gabe Jaramillo.

As Srishti continues to rise, her consistent performances signal the emergence of a future star on the global stage, inspiring young athletes across India to pursue excellence in tennis.
