In the match, Bengaluru Blasters set a target of 165 runs, which Gulbarga Mystics successfully chased, securing victory with six wickets in hand. The key to this victory was Ravichandran’s explosive batting, scoring an impressive 89 runs off just 52 balls. His innings was studded with 5 sixes and 8 fours, with a strike rate exceeding 171.
Ravichandran’s performance earned him four significant records in the league. He is currently the leading run-scorer with 391 runs in 8 innings across 9 matches. He has also hit the most sixes, totaling 25, which is a record in itself. In addition to this, he has the highest batting average of 97.75 and has scored the most fifty-plus scores in the ongoing season of the Maharaja T20 League.
Before this, Kavya Maran, a prominent figure in cricket, had also recognized Ravichandran’s potential, selecting him as a replacement player for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025.
