On the lines of IPL, the final match of Indian Wheel Chair Premier League for handicapped cricket players was played on 23rd June between Uttarakhand Challengers and Mumbai, in which Uttarakhand’s team emerged victorious. Three players from Chhattisgarh were selected in this team, and in the first match of this category itself, players from Chhattisgarh, Pilababu (Sakti), Amit Kumar (Sakti), Lucky Soni (Korba) were part of the winning team, in which Pilababu, a resident of Asaunda, displayed a brilliant game.

Before participating in the competition, Sakti Collector had given them cricket equipment, jerseys etc. and also wished them good luck for better sports performance to win and bring pride to the district along with the state. This game was organized in Bal Bhavan International School Sector 12, Delhi, in which eight teams from all over the country participated. On this achievement of Pilababu and his team, the family members and people of the area are feeling very proud of their players. Now these Divyang players want to show their skills in the country and abroad as well, so they are waiting for help from the government administration.
