The Kolkata Knight Riders, owned by Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla, have expressed their desire to acquire Sanju Samson, according to a report in the Kolkata newspaper Anandabazar Patrika. To achieve this, Kolkata has offered Rajasthan the option to choose between young top-order batsman Angkrish Raghuvanshi and finisher R. Ramanadeep Singh. The report stated that Kolkata would not be willing to trade both players. While Rajasthan retained Samson for 18 crore, Kolkata acquired Angkrish for 3 crore and Ramanadeep for 4 crore. Therefore, if this trade occurs, Kolkata will have to pay an additional 14-15 crore rupees to Rajasthan.
