    In IPL 2025, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were defeated by Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 18 runs. Punjab won the third win in the season. CSK has suffered defeat for the fourth consecutive time. Batting first after winning the toss at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Stadium in Mullanpur, Punjab scored 219 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Priyansh Arya completed a century on 39 balls.

    For Punjab, Priyansh Arya scored 103 runs on 42 balls. Shashank Singh remained unbeaten on 52 and Marco Jansan 34 runs. Khalil Ahmed and Ravichandran Ashwin from Chennai got 2-2 wickets. Chennai’s team, scoring 220 runs, could only score 201 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Dewon Conway retired out after scoring 69 runs on 49 ball. MS Dhoni scored 27 runs on 12 balls. Locky Ferguson got 2 wickets from Punjab. Maxwell and Yash Thakur got one wicket each.
