The Women’s ODI World Cup will begin on September 30. India will play Sri Lanka in their opening game in Bengaluru. The India vs. Pakistan match is scheduled for October 5 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, a neutral venue chosen due to political tensions. India will also compete against Bangladesh in Bengaluru on October 26. Australia, the defending champions, will start their campaign against New Zealand on October 1 in Indore. Australia will also face Pakistan in Colombo on October 8 and England in Indore on October 22, a rematch of the previous final. Pakistan’s matches, under the hybrid hosting agreement, will all be held in Colombo. Their schedule includes games against Bangladesh, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. England will play South Africa in Bengaluru, and then Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Bangladesh will play Pakistan, with additional matches in Visakhapatnam, and a match against Sri Lanka in Colombo. South Africa is set for key clashes against New Zealand and Australia in Indore. The decision to have Pakistan play on neutral grounds is due to India’s refusal to travel to Pakistan, echoing a similar arrangement in the 2025 Champions Trophy. The tournament includes 28 league matches followed by three knockout matches across various cities. The first semi-final is scheduled for Guwahati, but could be moved to Colombo if Pakistan qualifies. The second semi-final will be held in Bengaluru. The final venue will be decided between Bengaluru and Colombo.
