    Indian football fans can rejoice! Lionel Messi, the iconic footballer and World Cup winner, is coming to India. After much anticipation, Messi revealed his ‘GOAT India Tour’ on his social media, sparking excitement among fans.

    The announcement came on October 2nd, coinciding with the Dussehra celebrations. Messi’s post outlined his travel plans, sharing his excitement for the upcoming 3-day tour.

    Messi, who led Argentina to the 2022 World Cup title, wrote, “I am very excited to visit a beautiful country like India this December. It will be a pleasure to participate in concerts, youth football clinics, paddle cup events, and charity programs in Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, and possibly another city. It will also be an honor for me to meet and talk to the special people and celebrities of India.” He added that it’s a great honor to return to India after 14 years. Messi mentioned that India is a special country and he has good memories from his last visit. His tour includes visits to Kolkata on December 13th, Mumbai on December 14th, and New Delhi on December 15th. A meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi might be arranged in Delhi.
