The latest ICC ODI player rankings reveal a shift in the batting order, with Virat Kohli moving up to fifth place. This rise occurred as Pakistan’s Babar Azam experienced a downturn, dropping from fifth to seventh. Azam’s recent performances against South Africa and Sri Lanka, where he couldn’t surpass 29 runs in three innings, resulted in a loss of 19 rating points, bringing his total to 709.

Kohli now sits comfortably in fifth with 725 rating points. Charith Asalanka of Sri Lanka is positioned sixth. Kohli’s next ODI engagement is scheduled for November 30th, in the series against South Africa.

India’s Rohit Sharma continues to dominate the ODI batting charts, maintaining his first-place standing with 781 rating points. His consistent performance, including a player of the series award in Australia last month, keeps him ahead of the competition.

In the bowling rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is the current leader with 710 rating points. England’s Jofra Archer has climbed to second place, displacing Keshav Maharaj. The highest-ranked Indian bowler is Kuldeep Yadav, who is in sixth place with 634 rating points.
