Chetan Sakaria has played international cricket for the Indian team. He has represented India in one ODI and two T20 International matches. He has also played 19 matches in the IPL, taking 20 wickets. Left arm fast bowler Chetan Sakaria has been included in the team for Rs 75 lakh. He did not find any buyers in the IPL 2025 mega auction, after which he joined Kolkata Knight Riders as a net bowler. Now KKR has included him in the team as a replacement of Umran Malik.
Season opening match will be played between RCB and KKR
The first match of IPL 2025 is to be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at KKR’s Home Ground Eden Gardens Cricket Stadium on 22 March. This season KKR’s command has been entrusted to Ajinkya Rahane, while Venkatesh Iyer has been given the responsibility of vice-captain.
