John Cena, the iconic face of WWE for almost two decades, is nearing the end of his illustrious career. With only ten matches left, fans are preparing to bid farewell to a true wrestling legend. His final match is scheduled for December 13, 2025, marking the conclusion of a farewell tour packed with memorable moments and emotional tributes.

Cena’s final year in WWE has been nothing short of remarkable. After announcing his retirement timeline, he brought a mix of nostalgia, surprise, and emotional moments for the fans. He almost won the Royal Rumble in January and achieved victory in the Elimination Chamber in March, proving his enduring popularity. A significant moment was Cena’s unexpected heel turn alongside The Rock against Cody Rhodes, a storyline that became a viral sensation. This heel turn led to a WrestleMania main event victory over Rhodes, earning Cena his 17th World Championship, a record previously considered unattainable. He defended the title against Randy Orton and CM Punk and even teamed with Logan Paul, proving his adaptability.

Before SummerSlam, Cena transitioned back to his babyface persona for a rematch with Rhodes. This set the stage for another highly anticipated match: a showdown with Brock Lesnar, who was returning after a hiatus. Cena is scheduled to fight Logan Paul at Clash in Paris on August 31. At a SmackDown event in Dublin, Cena showed deep emotion during his entrance and promo, even calling Paul a “parasite.” Cena admitted he regrets not getting the chance to face Dominik Mysterio, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, The Usos, and Jacob Fatu before he retires. As Cena’s final matches approach, the wrestling world prepares to celebrate the legacy of a man who has inspired millions.
