In a moment of national pride, Indian cricket star Ravindra Jadeja and his wife Rivaba shared a special encounter with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House in New Delhi. The all-rounder, fresh from his T20 World Cup triumphs, took to social media to express his admiration for the leader’s vision and dedication.

Jadeja posted on X, describing the meeting as ‘a matter of great pride and honor.’ He praised Modi’s clarity of thought, enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment to excellence, calling it truly inspiring. ‘Learning from such leadership is a privilege,’ he added, capturing the sentiment of many who look up to the PM’s transformative style.

Rivaba Jadeja, a prominent BJP MLA from Jamnagar North and Gujarat’s Minister for Primary, Secondary, and Adult Education, echoed her husband’s excitement. Sharing photos from the meeting, she called it ‘not just a meeting, but a moment of pride.’ She highlighted Modi’s firm stance for India’s culture and future, noting how the nation is marching ahead with confidence.

Rivaba’s political journey adds depth to this story. Elected in the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections on a BJP ticket, she has risen quickly in state politics, balancing her ministerial duties with family life alongside one of cricket’s finest.

Meanwhile, Jadeja continues to shine in white-ball and red-ball cricket after retiring from T20Is post India’s 2024 World Cup victory. At 37, he’s a cornerstone of the team, recently securing an A-grade contract from BCCI for 2026-27 alongside Shubman Gill and Jasprit Bumrah.

His illustrious career boasts 89 Tests with 4,095 runs and 348 wickets, 210 ODIs with 2,905 runs and 232 wickets, and 74 T20Is with 515 runs and 54 wickets. As India eyes future challenges, moments like these remind fans of the blend between sports heroism and national leadership.
