The investment is anticipated to infuse over 500 million euros into English cricket. Furthermore, a sum of 50 million euros will be allocated to grassroots development. This signifies a pivotal moment for The Hundred, as it secures franchise partnerships of this magnitude for the first time in a UK sporting competition. While the investors will manage team operations, the ECB will retain ownership of the competition. A new governing board will oversee strategic and commercial aspects.
