Former Indian cricketer Saba Karim believes Mumbai Indians have a favorable edge in Qualifier 2 against Punjab Kings. Karim’s analysis highlights the team’s momentum and strong bowling as key factors. He also expressed his wish for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to secure their first IPL title.

Karim shared his insights during the Fit India ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative in Delhi.

MI, after a solid performance in the eliminator against Gujarat Titans, defending 228 runs, looks strong. In contrast, PBKS suffered a significant loss to RCB.

On the topic of the upcoming India tour of England, Karim anticipates a good showing from the young squad, led by captain Shubman Gill. He highlighted the opportunity for emerging talent and the depth of the squad. The tour begins on June 20.

Karim further acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recognition of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old Rajasthan Royals batter, as a positive sign for the game’s growth.
