IPL 2024: Lucknow’s second consecutive win, defeated Bengaluru by 28 runs, Mayank took three wickets.

IPL 2024: In the Indian Premier League-2024 (IPL), Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) achieved their second consecutive win by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 28 runs. On Tuesday, Lucknow scored 181 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. On home ground, Bengaluru team was all out after scoring 153 runs in 19.4 overs. Mayank Yadav took 3 wickets from LSG.

While chasing the target of 182 runs given by Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost wickets at regular intervals. The entire team could not even bat 20 overs and was all out on the score of 153 runs. RCB’s first wicket fell in the form of Virat Kohli, who returned to the pavilion only on the score of 22(16). Mahipal Lomror played the biggest innings for RCB and scored 33(13) runs. Apart from this, Rajat Patidar was out on the score of 29, Faf du Plessis 19(13), Anuj Rawat 11, Mohammad Siraj 12.

Mayank Yadav from Lucknow took 3 wickets for just 14 runs in 4 overs. Apart from this, Naveen Ul Haq managed to take 2 wickets, Manimaran Siddharth 1, Yash Thakur 1, Marcus Stoinis 1 wicket. Talking about Lucknow’s batting, Quinton de Kock played an amazing inning of 81 runs in 56 balls with the help of 8 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from him, Nicholas Pooran played an important role in taking LSG’s score to 181/5 by scoring unbeaten 40 runs with the help of 1 four and 5 sixes in 21 balls.
