His impressive performance included a throw of 71.37 meters. The victory added to India’s medal count, which included two golds and two silvers. The stands were graced by the presence of Neeraj Chopra, who witnessed Sumit’s remarkable feat. Sumit, 27, delivered his best performance in his fifth attempt, winning the men’s javelin throw F64 event.
