Team India is now concerned following an injury to Shubman Gill ahead of the Pakistan match. Gill, who is the vice-captain for the Asia Cup 2025, was injured during a training session. He sustained the injury to his hand and was seen visibly distressed.

After the injury, there was immediate action, with the team physio quickly assessing the situation. Gill left the nets and was seen sitting with his injured hand on an ice box. Captain Suryakumar Yadav and coach Gautam Gambhir went over to check on him, and Abhishek Sharma offered assistance.

It seems the injury wasn’t too serious, as Gill returned to the nets after a short break, and the physio continued to monitor him. The team’s intense practice session included Gill batting against Jasprit Bumrah.

The match between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 is set to take place in Dubai. This will be the second match for both teams in the tournament. India previously defeated UAE, while Pakistan defeated Oman.
