India showcased a stellar performance, defeating Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. Pakistan, after scoring 171 runs, had shown signs of a potentially higher score. They reached 91 runs in the first 10 overs with only one wicket down. However, India’s bowlers tightened their grip in the following seven overs. While Sahibzada Farhan scored 58 runs, the middle overs saw a slowdown with Mohammad Nawaz and Hussain Talat contributing fewer runs. Despite a late surge by Faheem Ashraf, who scored 20 runs in the last two overs, India’s bowlers, including Shivam Dube, Kuldeep Yadav, and Hardik Pandya, kept Pakistan in check. Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill’s batting display ensured India’s smooth victory.
