The stage is set for the first-ever Asia Cup final between India and Pakistan. This marks the first time in 41 years that the two cricketing giants will clash in the final of the tournament. Anticipation is high as the teams prepare for the final in Dubai, where the toss is expected to play a crucial role. Recent statistics from India’s matches are reportedly causing concern for Pakistan.

The toss will be a key element in the Asia Cup final on September 28th. Examining the last 10 matches, the chasing team has won five times at the Dubai stadium. The team batting first has won four times. One match was decided via a Super Over.

In T20Is on this ground, India and Pakistan have played each other five times. India has won three of those matches, while Pakistan has won two. Notably, the team batting second has won in every single match. Pakistan will be looking to change the narrative.

India has been victorious in both of its matches against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. In the first match on September 14th, India won by 7 wickets. India also won in the Super-4 stage, defeating Pakistan by 6 wickets.

Pakistan captain, Salman Agha, has won the toss three times in the Asia Cup 2025, with two wins and one loss. Indian captain, Suryakumar Yadav, has won the toss three times this tournament, and Team India has yet to lose. India also achieved the highest score in the Asia Cup 2025, scoring 202 runs for 5 wickets against Sri Lanka in 20 overs. Although Sri Lanka matched that score, a target of 185 runs had never been chased on this ground before.
