IND vs BAN Test Series: Such a feat will happen for the first time in 147 years of cricket history, Virat will get this ‘tremendous record’ by scoring just 58 runs against Bangladesh

IND vs BAN Test Series: Bangladesh cricket team is touring India today to play a 2 match test and 3 match T20 series. The test series between the two teams will start from 19th September, while the T20 series will be played from 6th October. In this series, Team India’s star batsman Virat Kohli will create a record by scoring 58 runs which no one has been able to do so far in the 147 year history of cricket.

Let us tell you that Kohli has retired from T20 International after making the Indian team the world champion in the T20 World Cup this year and this means that fans will now get to see him only in two formats – Test and ODI. Virat will be seen playing in the Test series against Bangladesh. Kohli made his international cricket debut in the year 2011. Since then, he has scored 26,942 runs in 591 innings in all formats of cricket (191 Tests, 283 ODIs and 117 T20 Internationals). In such a situation, if he scores 58 runs, he will become the fastest player to touch the figure of 27 thousand runs.

Sachin holds the record for scoring the fastest 27,000 runs

The record of completing 27 thousand runs in the fastest time in international cricket is registered in the name of India’s great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin touched this figure in 226 Tests, 396 ODIs and 1 T20 innings (total 623 innings). In the 147-year history of international cricket, apart from Sachin, only Australia’s Ricky Ponting and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara have been able to touch the figure of 27 thousand runs. But by scoring 58 runs against Bangladesh, Kohli can create a tremendous record of scoring 27 thousand runs in less than 600 innings in the 147-year history of cricket.
