New Delhi buzzes with cricket excitement as the latest ICC T20I bowling rankings drop a bombshell. India’s Varun Chakravarthy holds firm at number one, his spin wizardry unchallenged amid the T20 World Cup 2026 Super-8 battles. But the real story lies in the meteoric rises of Corbin Bosch from South Africa, Matthew Forde from West Indies, and India’s pace ace Jasprit Bumrah, all storming into the elite top 10.

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan clings to second place, but Bosch has skyrocketed 21 spots to third, turning heads with his raw talent. England’s Adil Rashid sits pretty at fourth, while Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed slips two places to fifth. Australia’s Adam Zampa climbs two rungs to sixth, showcasing leg-spin mastery.

Forde’s ascent is nothing short of spectacular—a 23-place jump lands him at seventh, marking West Indies’ resurgence. Bumrah, fresh off dismantling South Africa with fiery spells, vaults seven positions to eighth. Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman holds ninth, and Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga drops to tenth after a four-spot slide post-World Cup exit.

Notably, seven of the top 10 are spinners, underlining the format’s love for mystery and turn. In batting rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma reigns supreme at first, followed by England’s Phil Salt. Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan gains two to third, Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka is fourth, and Ishan Kishan surges three to fifth. Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Jos Buttler, Dewald Brevis (up 10 spots), and Tim Seifert round out the top 10.

These shifts signal evolving T20 dynamics, with pace finding cracks in spin dominance. As Super-8 heats up, expect more fireworks from these rankings climbers.
