    Honoka Hashimoto of Japan emerged victorious against Sreeja Akula in the women’s singles final at the WTT Contender Lagos, with a final score of 4-1. Akula fought hard to stay in the match but ultimately lost in the fifth game. In contrast, India celebrated success in the men’s doubles, as Gnanasekaran Sathiyan and Akash Pal clinched the title with a dominant performance, defeating the French pair of Leo de Nodrest and Jules Rolland in straight sets. The doubles match was completed in just 22 minutes, marking a strong showing for India.
