    Vadodara buzzed with kabaddi excitement on the second day of the 72nd Senior National Men’s Kabaddi Championship 2026 at Sama Indoor Complex. Thrilling encounters kept fans on the edge, intensifying the battle for knockout qualification spots.

    In Pool A, Andhra Pradesh edged out Telangana in a nail-biter, 47-45. Potla Gopi Chand’s 17 points and Gali Lakshma Reddy’s 10 proved decisive, while Telangana’s G Raju fought valiantly with 20 points.

    Haryana unleashed dominance against Telangana, crushing them 49-18. Neeraj Narwal led with 11 points, supported by Nitin Kumar’s 9. Surjeet Singh and Nitesh Kumar each notched 4 tackle points, showcasing airtight defense.

    Pool B saw Madhya Pradesh snatch a dramatic 35-34 victory over Goa. Bhavani Rajput’s 14 points and Uday Parte’s 9 fueled a late surge, holding nerves in the final moments for a one-point triumph.

    Tamil Nadu continued their rampage in Pool C, dismantling Vidarbha 40-21. Satish Kannan scored 8 raid points, while PKL 12 youngster Deepak S anchored defense with 8 tackles.

    Himachal Pradesh overpowered Gujarat 51-34 in another Pool C clash. U Mumba’s Anil starred with 14 points, aided by Pappu Kamal Kumar and Mayank Saini. Gujarat’s Mitesh Prajapati managed 13, but Himachal’s superior tackles and four all-outs sealed the deal.

    Uttar Pradesh delivered a statement in Pool D, thrashing Manipur 70-33 by 37 points. Uday Dabas dazzled with 25 points, Saurabh added 12, as UP amassed 53 raid points and eight all-outs. Manipur’s Mayengbam Manson impressed with 18, but couldn’t stem the tide.

    Kerala triumphed 45-30 over Chhattisgarh in Pool F. Nandu T’s 11 points and Adityan’s 10 highlighted balanced raids, with solid defense throughout. Shankar Mishra got 10 for Chhattisgarh.

    Delhi powered to a 64-42 win over Tripura in Pool H. Ashish’s 18 and Himanshu Singh’s 14 overwhelmed, despite A Das’s heroic 25 for Tripura. Delhi’s defense was the game-changer.

    With two days done, pool standings are taking shape. Expect fiercer competition as teams vie for knockout berths in this high-stakes national showdown.
