The Asia Cup is scheduled to begin on September 9th. However, before the tournament’s start, attention has been drawn to Hardik Pandya’s watch. The primary reason for the watch’s prominence is its price, which is so high that it surpasses the combined annual salaries of the 17 Pakistani players selected for the Asia Cup. The expensive watch first caught the eye when Pandya wore it during a practice session in Dubai.

The central question revolves around the cost of Hardik Pandya’s watch and the annual salaries of the Pakistani players chosen for the Asia Cup. Let’s delve into the specifics of the Pakistani players’ salaries.

Seven Pakistani players are in Grade B. This group includes Abrar Ahmed, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Sam Ayub, Salman Agha, and Shaheen Afridi. Each of these players has an annual salary of 16.92 million Indian rupees. As a result, the annual salaries of these seven players collectively amount to 118.31 million Indian rupees.

Five Pakistani players are classified in Grade C. These include Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, and Sahibzada Farhan. Each of these players receives an annual salary of 9.39 million Indian rupees, which totals 46.95 million Indian rupees for the five players.

Meanwhile, the remaining five players are in Grade D, with an annual salary of 5.63 million Indian rupees per player. The total annual salary for these five players is 28.17 million Indian rupees.

If the annual salaries of all 17 Pakistani players selected for the Asia Cup are added together, the total comes to 193.4 million Indian rupees. This amount is still less than the market price of Hardik Pandya’s watch, which is reportedly valued at 200 million Indian rupees. During his practice in Dubai, Hardik Pandya was seen wearing a Richard Mille RM 27-04 watch.
