In a high-octane clash at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo, Sahibzada Farhan smashed an unbeaten century, propelling Pakistan to a formidable 199 for 3 against Namibia in the 35th match of the T20 World Cup 2026. The explosive innings, laced with 15 boundaries, set a massive 200-run target for the Namibians on February 18.

Pakistan captain Salman Agha won the toss and elected to bat first, a decision that paid rich dividends. Openers Farhan and Saim Ayub laid a solid foundation with a brisk 40-run stand in just 5.1 overs. Ayub fell for 14 off 12 balls, but Farhan carried on relentlessly.

Pairing up with Agha, Farhan stitched a crucial 67-run partnership for the second wicket off 42 balls. Agha contributed a punchy 38 from 23 deliveries, featuring three fours and two sixes, before departing when the score was 118.

Unyielding, Farhan then teamed with Shadab Khan for an unbroken 81-run alliance in 40 balls, pushing Pakistan past the 200 mark psychologically. Farhan remained not out on 100 from 58 balls, bludgeoning 11 fours and 4 sixes. Shadab chipped in with a quickfire 36 not out from 22 balls, including three maximums.

Namibia’s Jack Brassell was the standout bowler with 2 for 48, while skipper Gerhard Erasmus snared one wicket. Pakistan now sits third in Group A with one win from three games, trailing USA but ahead of Netherlands. All three teams eye Super 8 spots.
