Shaw, who last participated in the IPL in 2024, is keen to make a return to the Indian franchise cricket scene. When asked about his team preference, Shaw surprised fans by expressing his strong interest in playing for the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming IPL seasons. Shaw’s previous team was the Delhi Capitals, where he played since 2018. However, he was not retained by the team for the 2025 IPL auctions held in Jeddah.
