Jaipur witnessed a dominant display by England in the final match of the Mixed Disability T20 series against India. On Friday, the visiting side sealed a comprehensive 9-wicket victory, clinching the series 4-1 in style.

India, batting first, struggled to find rhythm throughout their innings. They were bowled out for a modest 125 in just 19.2 overs. Early setbacks came as key opener Wasim Iqbal fell cheaply, putting pressure on the middle order from the start.

Akash Singh and captain Ravindra Sante provided a glimmer of hope with a crucial 60-run stand for the second wicket, lifting India to 82. Singh’s gritty 51 off 43 balls, featuring 4 fours and 2 sixes, was the standout effort. Sante chipped in with 33 off 26, while Nanda added 19. However, the lower order crumbled, losing wickets in clusters to slump to 125 all out.

England’s bowlers were relentless. Farooq Mohammad led the charge with 3 wickets, supported by Henry Wenman and Angus Brown, who each claimed 2 scalps. This bowling performance set up a straightforward chase.

Chasing 126, England openers John Gale and Angus Gallant Brown tore apart the Indian attack. Gale anchored the innings with an unbeaten 53 off 36 balls, blending patience with precise strokeplay. Brown, the wicketkeeper-batsman, exploded for 62 off 34 balls, smashing 5 fours and 5 sixes to dismantle the bowling.

India’s bowlers toiled without much success, managing just one wicket when Brown departed at 102. Josh Price remained not out, and England cruised home in 12.4 overs, with over 7 overs to spare. This emphatic win underscores England’s superiority in the series, leaving India to reflect on a tough campaign.
