Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry shared the “accident” after becoming a member of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s first-ever staff for the impending Ladies’s Premier League (WPL).
Perry, whose base worth was once INR 50 lakh, was once snapped through the Bangalore-based franchise for INR 1.7 crore on the WPL public sale on February 13 in Mumbai. The 32-year-old Perry published that she was once provide on the stadium to observe RCB’s first-ever IPL sport in 2008.
“A large hi and a large thanks for the chance to play with RCB within the first ever WPL,” Perry stated in a RCB video. “I am so excited for this match and the whole thing it manner for the ladies’s sport.
“It is more or less actually cool since the accident was once that I used to be in reality on the first-ever ECB sport for males a few years in the past. Since then, RCB has at all times had slightly of a comfortable spot in my center. I guess it was once this accident and now being a part of the first-ever girls’s staff is tremendous cool.

The Ladies’s Premier League (WPL) shall be performed solely in Mumbai, throughout two stadiums – D.Y. Patil and Brabourne. Royal Challengers Bangalore will start its marketing campaign in opposition to Delhi Capitals on March 5.
RCB has a star-studded line-up, with the likes of India opener Smriti Mandhana, England captain Heather Knight, New Zealand captain Sophie Devine. Mandhana turned into the most expensive participant on the WPL public sale after RCB purchased her for INR 3.4 crore on February 13.
