IPL 2024: The new season of IPL is going to start from March 22. But before that, a big update has come out regarding Delhi Capitals captain and star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant. Actually, the ongoing suspense regarding whether Rishabh Pant will play in IPL 2024 or not is now over. BCCI has given a big update regarding Pant and has made it clear that he will play in the 17th season of IPL.
Let us tell you that the Board of Control for Cricket in India not only declared Pant fit but also said that he can play the role of both batsman and wicketkeeper. This means that Pant can be seen playing IPL 2024 in both the roles. BCCI today gave an update on Rishabh Pant through a post on the social media platform 'X', saying that after the road accident on December 30, 2022, he had to undergo a 14-month rehabilitation and recovery process. But now he is completely fine. Pant is now fully prepared to play the role of wicketkeeper batsman in IPL 2024.

Apart from Rishabh Pant, BCCI also gave updates regarding two fast bowlers. The Indian Board gave an update regarding Prasidh Krishna that he is currently under the observation of the medical team and is out of IPL 2024. BCCI also shared similar information about Mohammed Shami. According to the final update of the board, Shami will also not be a part of IPL 2024.
