DC Vs KKR IPL 2025: Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders are face to face in the 48th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. This match is being played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Delhi Capitals have won the toss and decided to bowl first. Under the leadership of captain Akshar Patel, Delhi’s team is looking for victory on the home ground, while Kolkata would like to forget the previous defeat and return to the victory track.

Head to Head Record (DC vs KKR, IPL 2025)

So far 34 matches have been played between Delhi and Kolkata in the IPL, of which the Kolkata Knight Riders have been heavy. But since 2022, DC has a heavy upper hand, he has won three out of five matches. It is equal to 5-5 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, but KKR had won the last win against DC in 2017, since then it has suffered three defeats, including a defeat in the super over in 2019.

    Pitch report

According to Star commentator Ian Bishop and Nick Knight, the pitch of Arun Jaitley Stadium looks somewhat better this time. This is the same surface where the super over was played last time and both teams scored 188 runs. The ground is small and outfield is fast. A score above 160 is being expected on this pitch, but it is not completely compatible with the batsmen. Delhi’s strategy is clear. A better surface has been chosen to prevent spinners such as Naren and Chakraborty to prevent effective.
