New Delhi buzzed with festive cheer on Tuesday as cricket legends and current stars flooded social media with Holi greetings. Sachin Tendulkar, the Master Blaster, kicked off the celebrations on X, posting, ‘Happy Holi! May this day bring positivity, good health, and loads of joyful moments. Even if you get completely drenched, consider it a winning performance.’

Virat Kohli, ever the charismatic leader, shared an Instagram story proclaiming, ‘Happy Holi! May this festival of colors fill your life with success, happiness, and positivity.’ Fans lapped up the message from the chase master.

Rishabh Pant, the dynamic wicketkeeper-batter, urged everyone to ‘play safe, enjoy the colors, and spread only good vibes.’ His playful nod resonated with young enthusiasts soaking in the festivities.

VVS Laxman, known for his elegant strokeplay, extended warm wishes: ‘Very Happy Holi to everyone. May this beautiful festival of colors fill your lives with joy, good health, new beginnings, the colors of happiness, moments of laughter, and relationships that grow stronger.’

Yuzvendra Chahal amplified the joy by resharing his Punjab Kings IPL team’s post, simply stating, ‘Happy Holi to all.’ Anil Kumble reflected deeper, noting, ‘Holi celebrates colors, joy, and togetherness. It also reminds us to bring positivity, patience, and balance into our lives. Wishing everyone a very happy and safe Holi.’

Jhulan Goswami, India’s pace pioneer, added, ‘Holi is about colors and fun with loved ones. Hope your day is as bright as these colors and you’re having a great time with family and friends. Happy Holi!’

While the cricket fraternity spreads festive spirit, the Indian men’s team is locked in T20 World Cup action as defending champions. They face England in the second semi-final on March 5, aiming to become the first to lift the trophy back-to-back. Meanwhile, the women’s team is in Australia for a multi-format tour. After clinching the T20I series 2-1, they suffered a 0-3 ODI whitewash. A pink-ball Test awaits in Perth from March 6.

Holi’s vibrancy mirrors the high-stakes drama on the field, uniting players and fans in a splash of color and hope for glory.
