Chennai Welcomes ‘7Padel,’ Dhoni’s New Sports Venture

MS Dhoni has entered the sports business arena with the launch of ‘7Padel’ in Chennai. The venture promotes paddle tennis and pickleball, and was launched in collaboration with Ruturaj Gaikwad and Anirudh Ravichander. The 7Padel facility offers three paddle tennis courts, one pickleball court, a swimming pool, a gym, a recovery room, and a cafe. It is designed to cater to both professional athletes and the general public. Dhoni, known for his strong ties to Chennai through the Chennai Super Kings, described the launch of 7Padel as a symbol of his gratitude towards the city. He stated that Chennai has always been a special place for him. Dhoni has also been seen playing pickleball. He mentioned that the city has given him a lot both on and off the field and launching his first paddle center here feels right. He aims for 7Padel to become a place where athletes, families, and fitness enthusiasts can come together. Dhoni’s video playing pickleball with Rishabh Pant in Dubai gained significant attention, highlighting the growing popularity of pickleball.
