Ihsanullah Boycotts PLS 2025: Fast bowler Ihsanullah was not bought by any team in the draft held in Lahore last day for PSL 2025. He was in the news regarding his fitness problems.

Ihsanullah Boycotts PLS 2025: Just like IPL is played in India, Pakistan Super League (PSL) is played in Pakistan in the same way. The next season of this league is to be held this year. The draft process for PSL 2025 concluded on Monday. During this period, many Pakistani and foreign players were included in their team by the franchises, however, 22 year old young fast bowler Ihsanullah was not selected by any team. Angered by this, he surprised everyone by announcing his retirement from PSL. This player is none other than fast bowler Ihsanullah.

Retired after being ignored in PSL 2025 draft

After not being selected by any franchise in the PSL 2025 draft, Ihsanullah said, “No franchise is contacting me. Now I don’t want to play franchise cricket. It ends from today. I completely boycott PSL and retire from the league. Now I will never play in PSL. My aim now is to represent Pakistan by performing in domestic cricket.

    Career eclipsed due to injury!

Actually, after his good performance in PSL, he got a chance in Pakistan team. He made his T20 debut against Afghanistan in March 2023, but during his ODI debut against New Zealand, he suffered a hamstring injury, which was not treated properly. Even rehabilitation could not be done. That’s why he stayed away from cricket for 21 months. This also affected his speed.

    Promised to improve fast bowling

Talking about his bowling, Ihsanullah said, ‘I will bowl at a speed of 150-160 km/h, people who say that I bowl at a speed of 130-135 km/h, I will show them in the next one and a half months. That I am not an injured player of PSL 8. Now I will perform even better.

Had a great performance in PSL 2023

The same Ihsanullah, while playing for Multan Sultans in PSL 2023, took 22 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 15.77. He was the second highest wicket taker in the season with 22 wickets, for which he received the title of ‘Player of the Series’. Due to his performance, he got a chance to play for the Pakistan national team. Till now he has played 1 ODI and 4 T20 International matches for Pakistan. Although he was not a regular part of the team.

What did Ihsanullah say about the future?

Talking about his future, Ihsanullah said that his focus will now be on domestic cricket. He will perform brilliantly and force the franchises to run after him. This decision of Ihsanullah, who made a name for himself in Pakistan cricket on the basis of his performance in PSL, is a big blow to the league. Now it will be interesting to see how he achieves his target in domestic cricket.
