Smriti Mandhana’s remarkable consistency has cemented her place at the pinnacle of women’s ODI batting, as she continues to lead the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings. Her recent stellar performances in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, featuring a century against New Zealand and an unbeaten 34 against Bangladesh, have contributed to her achieving a career-best rating of 828. This impressive score puts her a considerable margin ahead of Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner, who is now second with 731 points following her unbeaten century. Mandhana’s exceptional form was also recognized earlier with the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for September 2025. The latest rankings reveal a dynamic shift in other positions as well. South African captain Laura Wolvaardt has climbed into the top three. England’s Amy Jones has broken into the top 10, reaching ninth place, while Annabel Sutherland has seen a significant rise to 16th. Young Indian batter Pratika Rawal has also made her way into the top 30. In the bowling rankings, England’s Sophie Ecclestone remains the top performer. She is closely followed by Australia’s Alana King, who has jumped to second after a phenomenal seven-wicket haul, achieving a career-high rating. Nashra Sundhu from Pakistan has also climbed into the top 10. The all-rounder rankings see Ashleigh Gardner maintaining her leading position, with Marizanne Kapp moving up to second place.
