The Indian team of Saurabh Chaudhary and Suruchi Singh secured a bronze medal at the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Asian Shooting Championship 2025 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan on August 20th. After a challenging start, the pair demonstrated determination, earning a bronze medal. This event adds to India’s medal count, which now consists of one silver and three bronze medals in the senior category. The Indian duo triumphed over the Chinese Taipei team of Heng Yu-Liu and Hsiang Chen-Hsieh in the bronze medal match, finishing with a score of 17-9. During the qualification stage, the Indian team placed fifth with a score of 578 (20x), with Suruchi scoring 292 points and Saurabh scoring 286. Suruchi’s performance featured a perfect start, with subsequent scores of 94 and 98. Chaudhary’s scores were 95, 96 and 95. Another Indian pair, Palak Gulia and Aditya Malra, did not advance to the medal rounds, placing tenth in the qualification with a score of 575 (20x).
