Team India New Coach: These days IPL 2024 is going on. After this, Team India will leave for the T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in America-West Indies. The board’s entire focus is on winning the World Cup. For this, a strong team has also been selected under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Rahul Dravid will remain with the team as coach, but his tenure is about to end with the end of this World Cup. BCCI has invited applications for the new coach. 27th May is the last date to apply. It is being told that Team India will get a new coach during the World Cup 2024 itself.

This time BCCI is showing interest in hiring a foreign coach. The latest update is that the board has approached former New Zealand player Stephen Fleming and former Australian cricketer Tom Moody for this post. A source, on the condition of anonymity, has claimed that the board is approaching these two veterans. However, a total of 8 stars are involved in the coaching race, out of which 4 are Indian and the same number of foreign players.

    BCCI contacted these 2 legends

Stephen Fleming has been a part of Chennai Super Kings since IPL 2008. This franchise has won 5 titles under his coaching. Tom Moody also has great coaching experience. He has made Sunrisers Hyderabad the champion in the year 2016. Fleming has the strongest claim because he has the experience of coaching in the IPL for a long time and he quickly adjusts to the Indian players. He is also a great strategist.
