The Pakistan cricket team is facing criticism not only for its on-field performance but also for off-field controversies, including a dispute over handshakes with India. Adding to the team’s troubles, former Pakistani cricketer Atiq-uz-Zaman has criticized the quality of the team’s jersey, alleging it is inferior to those of other teams in the Asia Cup. He implied that the poor quality is linked to corruption within the PCB. Zaman, who played one Test and three ODIs for Pakistan, is currently coaching a team in Germany.
