    In the Andhra Premier League 2025, Vijayawada Sunrisers defeated Royals of Rayalaseema by 7 wickets. Pyla Avinash from Royals of Rayalaseema put on a remarkable batting display, scoring 96 runs for his team. His innings was highlighted by 11 sixes, showcasing his ability to hit the ball powerfully. Despite his efforts to win the match, the Royals of Rayalaseema could not secure a victory, however, the crowd and commentators praised his batting performance. Avinash scored his 96 runs with the help of four boundaries in addition to the 11 sixes, off just 39 balls. This impressive knock propelled Royals of Rayalaseema to 196 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Vijayawada Sunrisers chased down the target in 17 overs, losing only three wickets. Ashwin Hebbar, the captain of Vijayawada, scored 98 runs, leading his team to victory. Garimella Teja remained unbeaten on 77 runs, hitting 7 fours and six sixes. Vamsi Krishna managed 16 runs before being dismissed, while Munnagi Abhinav failed to score. Jagarlapuri Ram took three wickets for Royals. In the IPL 2025 mega auction, Punjab Kings bought Pyla Avinash for 30 lakh rupees, though he didn’t feature in the tournament. Avinash made his first-class debut for Andhra Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 and his T20 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in November 2024. In his T20 debut, he scored 53 runs from 32 balls against Mumbai. In five T20 matches in Indian domestic cricket, he has scored 81 runs at a strike rate of 117.39, with a best score of 55.
