NAGAON: An All India United Democratic Entrance (AIUDF) MLA of Assam has created an argument through claiming that Mughal emperor Aurangzeb donated land for the famed Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati.
The foundation of the Kamakhya Temple is thought to be pre-Aryan or tribal in characteristics and rituals through many, in keeping with the website online of the shrine.
“Aurangzeb’s land grant to Maa Kamakhya Temple is obviously written in a e-book ‘Pavitra Asam’ through famous litterateur Dr Maheswar Neog which used to be revealed through the Asam Sahitya Sabha,” Aminul Islam, the MLA of Dhing in Nagaon district, mentioned.

The AIUDF MLA additionally claimed that Aurangzeb had donated land to masses of temples in India, together with 178 hectares of land to Jangamwadi Temple in Varanasi.
Reacting to this, the manager minister mentioned his govt is not going to tolerate such baseless statements.
In the meantime, a self-proclaimed Hindutva chief Satyaranjan Bora used to be detained and later launched through police on Wednesday as he tried to march to Islam’s place of dwelling at Dhing to protest in opposition to his commentary.
Bora has filed a criticism in opposition to Islam at Dispur police station in Guwahati.
“Maa Kamakhya Devalaya is regarded as maximum sacred and oldest of the 51 Shakti Peethas on earth. It’s the centrepiece of broadly practised, tough Tantrik Shaktism cult in India,” the website online of the temple mentioned.
