Rabada launched from South Africa squad on eve of India ODI sequence

South Africa’s lead pacer Kagiso Rabada used to be on Tuesday launched from the group for the three-match One-Day World sequence towards India as a part of its workload control.

The sequence begins in Paarl on Wednesday.

“Proteas seam bowler, Kagiso Rabada, has been launched from the group for the Betway One-Day World (ODI) sequence towards India because of prime workloads over a sustained time period and the desire for him to recuperate prior the outbound Check sequence towards New Zealand subsequent month,” Cricket South Africa (CSA) stated in a commentary.

The board stated no substitute will likely be introduced in for Rabada as there’s a longer squad in position within the Bio-Protected Setting (BSE), however George Linde has been retained from the Check group as an additional spin-bowling possibility for the sequence.
