The minister’s son made the announcement after the Congress, in its first listing of applicants for the Punjab meeting polls, gave the price tag to sitting MLA Navtej Singh Cheema from the Sultanpur Lodhi meeting constituency.

The advance comes an afternoon after leader minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s brother Manohar Singh introduced his goal to battle as an impartial from the Bassi Pathana seat from the place the sitting legislator Gurpreet Singh GP used to be given the price tag.

“I can be contesting as an impartial from Sultanpur Lodhi,” Rana Inder Partap Singh advised PTI over the telephone.
