New Delhi buzzed with excitement on Monday as Nitin Nabin, a rising star in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), formally filed his nomination for the position of national president. This pivotal moment marks a new chapter for the world’s largest political party, with formal announcement slated for Tuesday.
Senior NDA leaders wasted no time in showering praise and best wishes on the young leader. Union Minister Annapurna Devi led the chorus, hailing Nabin’s nomination as a milestone. ‘Heartiest congratulations to Nitin Nabin on becoming the national president of the BJP, the biggest party globally,’ she said. Emphasizing his youth, Devi expressed confidence that Nabin would strengthen the party further under his dynamic leadership.
BJP MP Kiran Choudhary echoed similar sentiments, calling Nabin a dynamic young face set to helm the party. ‘The era belongs to the youth, and this democratic process will undoubtedly benefit the BJP immensely,’ she noted.
Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu highlighted the rigorous internal election process that Nabin’s candidacy has undergone, from booth to district levels. ‘This is the right procedure, ensuring the leader is ready for the massive responsibilities ahead,’ Bittu remarked.
Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat predicted a swift completion of the process, while BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda underscored the party’s historic scale with over 14 crore verified members and its fully democratic structure.
Bihar’s senior leader status brought special pride for MP Ravi Shankar Prasad. ‘It’s a matter of immense pride that a senior from Bihar is ascending to national president,’ he stated.
Other voices like former minister Darshana Jardosh, BJP MP Rekha Sharma, Haryana minister Rajesh Nagar, BJP leader Ram Bilas Sharma, and MP Gulam Ali Khatana all rallied behind Nabin, praising his youth, past achievements in Maharashtra, and potential to lead victories in Bengal and Assam. Rekha Sharma pointed out the inspirational message: hard-working grassroots workers can rise to the top. As PM Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat gains momentum, Nabin’s leadership is seen as key to guiding India’s youth toward a developed nation.
This unanimous support signals strong unity within the BJP ranks, positioning Nabin for a transformative tenure at the helm.
