In a series of coordinated crackdowns, Madhya Pradesh police have dismantled major drug trafficking networks, seizing narcotics valued at over Rs 14 crore and arresting 22 suspects. These operations underscore the state’s relentless campaign against organized crime.

The spotlight fell on Ratlam district, where authorities raided an illegal MD drug manufacturing unit. Sixteen individuals were nabbed, and police confiscated 10.93 kilograms of MD, along with production chemicals, electronic gadgets, two four-wheelers, and property worth Rs 12 crore. The haul also included two illegal firearms, 91 cartridges, precious sandalwood, and two peacocks rescued by the forest department.

Cases have been registered under the NDPS Act and Arms Act. In Narsinghpur, Operation Eagle Claw targeted two locations, yielding massive drug seizures. A truck yielded 106 kg of ganja, valued at Rs 55 lakh including the vehicle, leading to two arrests. Separately, 31.55 grams of smack worth Rs 3.5 lakh was recovered from one person, with total seizures at Rs 58.5 lakh and three arrests.

Satna’s Uchera police station area saw the bust of 400 kg of ganja worth Rs 40 lakh, with one arrest. In Katni, another 50 lakh worth of ganja was seized alongside six traffickers. These swift actions have disrupted supply chains and sent a strong message to criminal syndicates operating in the region. Investigations continue to uncover deeper networks.
