The competition, which unfolded in the first week of January 2026, saw the young talent shine brightly among participants from across the nation.
Representing her hometown with unwavering confidence, Princeshpriya captivated the judges through a series of rigorous rounds. Her journey began with auditions in Kolkata on August 17, followed by an intensive three-day grand finale in Rajasthan’s pink city. ‘I feel immense joy and pride in representing Malda and West Bengal,’ she shared in an exclusive interview.
The event kicked off on January 6 with reporting and a welcome ceremony. Training sessions followed under the guidance of renowned mentors, including Nonita, a former Miss Universe Top 10 finalist, Yatin Sir, and Vijayta Ma’am. The second day featured more training and a photoshoot, culminating in the cultural round where Princeshpriya showcased Bengal’s rich traditions, securing first runner-up position.
The finale on January 8 was electrifying. Dressed in an exquisite gown by designer Archana Kocher, she delivered a stellar performance in the designer round, ultimately claiming the crown. This victory marks not just a personal milestone but a beacon of inspiration for young girls in Malda.
