This diverse group includes top ISRO scientists behind Gaganyaan and Chandrayaan missions, deep ocean explorers, isotopic researchers, innovative students from Atal Tinkering Labs, progressive farmers, and participants from PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio show.
As India marks its 77th Republic Day, these guests represent excellence in employment generation, innovation, research, sports, agriculture, science, social empowerment, and nation-building. The initiative honors everyday heroes who have made remarkable contributions, fostering greater public participation in national events and recognizing grassroots efforts.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the invitees feature World Athletics Para Championship winners, natural farming pioneers, top performers in pulses, oilseeds, and maize production, rehabilitated transgender individuals and former beggars under PM SMILE scheme. Beneficiaries of the Dharti Aba Tribal Village Utkarsh campaign, trained rural animal husbandry workers, leaders from National Green Hydrogen Mission companies, and international sports victors are also included.
Women producer groups, self-help groups, ‘Lakhpati Didis’, Khadi development artisans, PM Vishwakarma trainees, semi-conductor startups, bio-E3 policy innovators, unorganized sector workers, street vendors, BRO construction laborers, Jal Jeevan Mission beneficiaries, PMAY-G housing recipients, PM Crop Insurance scheme participants, anganwadi workers, disaster management volunteers, Northeast artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, tribal reps, Veer Gatha project winners, saturated panchayat sarpanchs, and Buddhist summit delegates round out the impressive list.
Foreign youth exchange participants, junior astronomy olympiad medalists, and top intellectual property holders will join the festivities. All guests enjoy prime seating at Kartavya Path, tours of National War Memorial, PM Memorial, and Delhi landmarks, plus interactions with central ministers.
