The investigation into the death of singer Zubeen Garg continues to progress with the arrest of two more individuals, bringing the total number of suspects in custody to four. Following his death in Singapore, authorities have taken further action. The latest arrests include Sekhar Jyoti Goswami, a fellow musician, and Amritprabha Mahanta, a singer. Both were present in Singapore when Zubeen Garg passed away.
Following Zubeen’s death, his family expressed their suspicions, claiming that his death wasn’t simply caused by drowning. They called upon security agencies to conduct a comprehensive investigation. Additionally, the Assam government has initiated an inquiry, vowing to uncover the cause of death and bring the responsible parties to justice. These recent arrests are a key element of the ongoing investigation.
