In a strong push for accountability, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued stern directives to officials. He mandated that anyone submitting falsified investigation reports in any case must face immediate FIR registration. Every matter demands impartial scrutiny and resolution, with zero tolerance for negligence or laxity.
During Saturday’s public grievance redressal at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi listened intently to around 150 citizens. Seated outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Memorial Hall, he assured everyone that no one needs to worry—all issues would be swiftly resolved. He instructed administrative and police officers on the spot to handle public complaints with timeliness, fairness, and high quality.
Several complainants highlighted instances where incorrect reports had derailed their cases. Responding decisively, the Chief Minister ordered probes into these lapses and FIRs against the culprits. ‘No leniency in aiding victims,’ he emphasized. Any delay or deliberate stalling would invite strict action.
Land encroachment grievances also surfaced, prompting orders for legal crackdowns. Medical aid seekers received prompt directives to fast-track hospital estimates for funding from the CM’s discretionary fund. The CM showered affection on accompanying children, hugging them, distributing chocolates, and urging them to study hard.
His day at the temple followed tradition: darshan of Guru Gorakhnath, paying homage at his guru Mahant Avedyanath’s statue, temple rounds, and gaushala service where he fed jaggery to cows with his own hands. This episode underscores Yogi’s hands-on governance style, blending spiritual roots with administrative vigilance, ensuring justice reaches the common man without bureaucratic hurdles.
