Uttar Pradesh is accelerating its push to transform the Yamuna Expressway region into a thriving export-oriented industrial hub. At the forefront of this initiative is the development of a massive 175-acre Apparel Park in Sector-29 under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). This ambitious project promises to position the state as a major player in the garment industry, driving economic growth through enhanced manufacturing capabilities.

The Apparel Park will create thousands of employment opportunities, particularly for women, fostering their social and economic empowerment. Aligned with the state’s industrial policies and the national Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, it supports ‘Make in UP’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ campaigns. Designed specifically for ready-made garment manufacturing units targeting both domestic and international markets, the park will host around 100 production units.

Strategically located along the Yamuna Expressway and in close proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport, the park offers unparalleled connectivity. Once the airport becomes operational, exporters will benefit from swift logistics, reduced costs, and timely deliveries—critical factors in global trade. The Delhi-NCR vicinity further minimizes transportation expenses, making UP garments more competitive worldwide.

Key infrastructure includes a Common Facility Center equipped with design studios, training centers, testing labs, quality control units, R&D facilities, and marketing support systems. This cluster model allows small and medium enterprises to share resources, slashing individual investment needs and production costs while boosting competitiveness.

Beyond direct jobs in sewing, pattern making, packaging, quality checks, and logistics, the park will generate indirect employment across the textile value chain. The Yogi government’s focus on value-added manufacturing will benefit farmers, weavers, and small entrepreneurs. When fully operational, this project will inject new vitality into the Yamuna Expressway region’s economy, solidifying UP’s status as an investment magnet.
