New Delhi buzzed with energy on International Women’s Day as events celebrated women’s achievements across the capital. A highlight was the bike rally flagged off by Delhi’s Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, drawing crowds and notable figures to honor female empowerment.

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, addressing the gathering, extended heartfelt wishes to women nationwide. She praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering commitment, stating that India is not just discussing empowerment but actively building a developed nation under women’s leadership. ‘This is the foundation of Viksit Bharat,’ she emphasized, highlighting transformative policies and opportunities.

Delhi BJP President Virender Sachdeva joined the chorus, saluting every mother, sister, and woman powering the nation. ‘We mark one day, but every day is Women’s Day,’ he declared. He pointed to women’s dominance in homes, education, business, politics, arts, sports, and more, seizing every chance to excel.

Sachdeva noted the timely gifts from PM Modi: inaugurating two metro projects and five key initiatives. This aligns with efforts to mirror Viksit Bharat in Delhi, with central and state governments collaborating for rapid progress. Women’s leadership is central to this vision, promising a brighter, inclusive future for the capital and beyond.
