Justice Prathiba M Singh, a respected judge of the Delhi High Court, has been selected to chair the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) Advisory Board of Judges. Her tenure will span from 2025 to 2027, during which she will lead a group of distinguished judges in advising WIPO on its judicial outreach and initiatives. Justice Singh’s appointment underscores her significant standing in the intellectual property field. Notably, she also contributes to the World Health Organization (WHO) as a co-chair for AI in Health. The board includes eight additional prominent judges, and all members will provide their expertise in their personal capacity. WIPO highlighted its appreciation for the voluntary service and invaluable support offered by the members of this crucial advisory body, emphasizing their role in enhancing global IP jurisprudence.
