The Pune Police’s bust of a rave party in a private apartment has led to the arrest of seven individuals, including Pranjal Khewalkar, the son-in-law of former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse. The accused have been remanded to police custody until July 29. Khewalkar is married to Rohini Khadse, the state president of the NCP women’s wing under Sharad Pawar. Khewalkar’s Instagram profile identifies him as a businessman, social worker, and doctor. He is also a producer and entrepreneur involved in music production and has business interests in various sectors. Police confiscated drugs, hookah equipment, and liquor from the apartment. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis stated he will provide comments after receiving an official briefing on the matter.
